Can I Apply to College with Good SAT Scores but No GPA?
I know you can find colleges which can be test-optional, but what are the which can be GPA-optional? Used to do really well on my SATs, but my GPA is never as high, and so I’d like to connect with universities using my test scores just. Is the fact that possible?
‘The Dean’ is not conscious of any university that will bestessay not expect a senior high school transcript from freshman applicants. (Some universities do allow students to self-report grades initially, but will likely then request a transcript that is official verification after acceptance.) Therefore unless your senior school will not grade its pupils at all (that will be uncommon but does happen), your grades will be needed, and also a cumulative GPA if the senior school computes bestessays one — and many do. (also students that are home-schooled or who have dropped out of highschool and earned a GED are likely to provide a transcript from whatever time they bestessays review did invest in school.)
To ensure that’s the bad news. However the good news is that admission officials are not likely to consider just your cumulative GPA, but also on its make-up. Thus, if you tended to get great grades in mathematics and science but terrible grades in English and history (or vice-versa), your successes won’t be lost on the admission staff. Similarly, if you took a particularly grueling course load, they’ll remember that too.
